This is a fundraiser for the Ottawa Food Bank now held on the grounds of City Hall in downtown Ottawa during the Mayors Rural Expo. The Gloucester Lions have been involved from the beginning by assisting with the many tasks required to put on a huge BBQ. The proceeds from this event go to purchasing local beef to be frozen and distributed to the various local food bank outlets.
This year’s BBQ raised $106 000 for the Food Aid Program.
